The Rewards and Recognition Section (R&R) shall provide operational support through the development, implementation, enhancement, monitoring and evaluation of programs and services, and interventions to address current and emerging needs of DSWD personnel in the areas of rewards and recognition. Further, it shall formulate necessary policies to promote a supportive organizational environment.
Develops and monitors policies and mechanisms on rewards and recognition that seeks to recognize, award and motivate personnel with exemplary performance, outstanding accomplishments and exemplary behavior
Promotes a culture of recognition in the Department
Acts as Secretariat for the PRAISE National Committee and CO Committee
Organizes the annual DSWD PRAISE Awards
Maintains an annual calendar of rewards and recognition activities
Coordinates with other external award-giving bodies for nominations of DSWD officials, employees and groups
Facilitates on-the-spot awards and congratulatory announcements
Organizes mechanisms for employee milestones e.g. promotion, birthdays, work anniversaries
Facilitates the requests for travel incentives
Conducts annual evaluation of the PRAISE
Maintains rewards and recognition module under the HRMIS
