The Student Training Program of the Department aims to provide students with meaningful learning opportunities along with Social Welfare and Development in DSWD centers and institutions, community-based programs, and services, among others. This program aims to provide students the experience and opportunity to appreciate government service delivery function in the social welfare service sector of the bureaucracy.

Kumustahan with DSWD FO VI OJT Students | March 7, 2025 – On-the-job training (OJT) students from various courses and universities across Iloilo gathered at Punta Villa Resort, Villa Arevalo for a Kumustahan session organized by the Learning and Development Section. The activity provided an opportunity for the students to get to know one another, share their experiences, discuss concerns, and receive updates—promoting collaboration and support among future professionals.
