Classroom Rules

1. Be Respectful.

• Avoid interrupting classroom instruction.
• Raise your hand if you want to speak.
• Use appropriate language.
• Keep your workspace clean.
• Wait for dismissal by the teacher before packing up.
• Stay seated in assigned seat unless otherwise directed by the teacher.
• No cell phone usage without teacher permission.

2. Be Responsible.

• Come to class on time.
• Come to class with all necessary materials (for ex. English binder, book, pens, pencil, etc.)
• Complete and turn in assignments on time.

3. Think!

• Do not sleep in class.
• Focus on the lesson at hand.
• Be sure to get a clear understanding of the material.
• Ask questions.
• Participate in class discussions.
• Make an appointment for extra help when needed.

Consequences:

1. Verbal Warning
2. Phone Call Home
3. Referral to Administration
