Students will be required to procure and maintain a three ring binder.

Grading Policy

Grades will be based on the evaluation of classwork, homework, tests, quizzes, class participation, and individual and group projects. The difficulty of an assignment determines its pre-assigned point value. Grading for this course is on a total-points system. The student will be able to and is expected to keep track of his/her grade throughout the course.

Homework

Homework is to be turned in at the beginning of the class period on the day it is due. If homework is not completed and turned in on time, it will not receive credit; it is worth 0 points. However, you are still expected to complete and turn the homework in at the beginning of the following class in order to avoid further grade penalties.

All essays must be typed using the following format:
