Students and Families of Dallas Middle School,
It is with great gratitude that we wish Mr. Sean McLaughlin well as he prepares to leave his role as principal of Dallas Middle School to pursue the next exciting steps in his career. On behalf of the district, I would like to acknowledge the dedication and positive changes that Mr. McLaughlin shared with Dallas and extend all the best to him and his family in future endeavors.
In addition to acknowledging Mr. McLaughlin, the purpose of this memo is to update and notify you of the plan pertaining to the middle school administration. Currently, the district is working through the final stages of an exhaustive process to ensure the hiring of a candidate with a similar commitment to the high standards that Dallas embraces. In the interim, I will serve in the role of building leader - guiding the day to day operations of the middle school. I am looking forward to the opportunity to serve in this capacity, as it will allow me to work more closely with students, faculty, and staff at a level that I particularly enjoy. As with anything, I will devote myself to ensuring that we continue to provide the best possible experience for Dallas Middle School from all aspects.
As we work toward a new principal, I want to assure all Dallas Middle School stakeholders that I am fully available to support you and your student(s) with any school-related needs during the transition and beyond.
