In an effort to be more in line with the grading policies of the 7th and 8th grade, our grading procedures will be a points system. With a points system, each test is worth a specified number of points (instead of always being based on 100 points) . For example, with the grading system, a test may be worth 63 points. If your student gets 63 out of 63 points...that is a 100%, but online you will see a 63. On the same test, if your student receives 57 out of 63 points...that is a 90%, but online you will see a 57. Please also note that CSIU will automatically convert points to percentage grades.
