An operating room complex, also called an OR complex, is a sterile environment within a hospital where surgeons perform surgeries on patients. It's basically a suite of rooms designed to maximize efficiency and safety during surgical procedures. 

The complex typically includes several operating rooms for different types of surgery, along with prep areas, sterilization rooms, and recovery rooms.
