The hemodialysis unit is here to support patients with chronic kidney disease. Our team uses a process called hemodialysis to act as an artificial kidney, filtering waste and excess fluids from your blood. 

Peritoneal dialysis is a treatment method where a patient's own abdominal lining acts as a natural filter to remove waste products and excess fluid from the blood. Unlike hemodialysis, which uses a machine to clean blood outside the body, PD uses a cleansing solution that flows into the abdomen through a catheter.
