Have a partially exciting product you want to feature in your stream? Drip has the tool for you! While in your stream, hover over the thumbnail of the product you would like to feature under the Sale category, and click 'Mark Active'. Clicking this button will bring up a box showing the pricing and inventory you have already assigned to it, but clicking the 'Start Sale' button is when the magic happens. Feature a sale product to move sales on one item, think of it as your own personal billboard!
Pro Tip: You can even spotlight a product before you're live and encourage pre-orders!
Are you feeling nice and want to turn your spotlight product into a Flash Sale, a ****discount offered for a short period of time?! While in your stream, hover over the thumbnail of the product in the Sale category, click 'Mark Active' and then select 'Flash Sale'. You can edit the price, inventory, and duration of the sale item before clicking 'Start Sale'. Once done, your Flash Sale will appear over your chat. Let the Flash Sale be your own automated salesman!
Pro Tip: Promote Flash Sales ahead of your stream to encourage early attendance and sprinkle Flash Sales throughout your stream to maintain viewership!
When adding products to your Drip Shop, give your buyers the choice to Rip on stream or Ship directly to them. Scheduling out your streams and attaching product to them will give your buyers a choice in selecting which date works for them in seeing the product opened on stream. Opt to not attach a Sale Product to a stream, and it will be available for purchase from your Drip Shop. Give your buyers choices, its a great way to meet all needs!
Encourage buyers to give you 'Driplets' during your live streams and reward them with a giveaway! Pick a 'Driplet' goal number you feel is both fair and competitive for your audience and educate your audience on how your giveaway will work. ****For best results, promote the giveaway on your social channels prior to your stream and even include the giveaway in your stream title. This type of giveaway is a great tool to drive viewership to your stream, have your viewers interact with you and to build a following. Try your best to be fun and creative when interacting with your audience. We promise, it will pay off!
Add a 20-30 second video clip to your live stream to give prospective buyers a taste of what your live stream will be like. This allows you to curate your first interaction with prospective attendees and make buyers more likely to add your stream to their watchlist. Building hype before the stream with a pre-show video is one of the BEST ways to separate yourself apart from other streamers. Did you pull a big card in your last stream and want to show it off to your social channels, friends, and even future streams? First, make sure you are signed out of your Drip account then locate your stream under the Past Streams category on Dripshop.live or within your Host Profile. Click into the stream and right click the video and select Save Video As. Once the video is saved, you can use any editing software and clip the big pull. If you post the clip on Instagram be sure to tag us @dripshop.live and @sportsondrip or Drip Shop Live on Facebook!
Share your Drip Shop Profile URL ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE, the more visibility the better! Remember, Drip is more than a live streaming platform, it is also a marketplace - you now have your very own Drip Shop! Make sure to make it your own by adding a unique profile image and banner. Your Drip Shop will show buyers your current live stream or your upcoming live stream, the products you have available for purchase (regardless if attached to a live stream), and even view past streams.
Ask viewers to rate your streams! The Drip rating is a trusted resource for buyers on our platform and a high rating will attract new buyers to your live streams and Drip Shop. This is also a great way to collect feedback and make improvements as needed.
Don't be afraid to ask for ratings throughout your stream to ensure you are getting the Drip cred you deserve! If you are doing well, your rating should rep that.
Heading out for the night but want to shift your viewers to another great stream? The Raid feature is a great way you can send those people over to support another streamer in the Drip community.
When ending your stream:
Type in your chat “/raid @(a list pops up with who’s currently live)”
Select that next stream and boom, everyone goes right there!
