A: Drip is a live streaming platform that allows you to buy, sell and auction products from within a stream and connect with buyers and sellers in real-time.
Q: Are there costs associated with live streaming on Drip?
A: For any sales made, we charge a small service and payment processing fee of 6% per transaction.
Q: How does Drip market my live stream?
A: Drip will simulcast your live stream into Pokemon World (for Pokemon-selling streams only) and does a combination of paid marketing, event marketing, and simulcasting into other relevant communities.
Q: Does Drip have an app?

Q: Can I stream on Drip from the app?
A: No, not currently but we are working on it! For now, please use the internet browser on your phone and sign in on www.dripshop.live through there.
Q: Do I have to be a certain age to stream on Drip?
A: Yes! All streamers must be 18 years or older. You must be at least 18 years old in order to create an account or use the app. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are 18 years old or younger, you must stop using the app immediately.
Q: Where do I send customers who have issues on Drip?
A: Please direct customers to email support@dripshop.live and our support team will be happy to assist.
Q: What is the required dimension for my Drip Host Banner?
A: 1200 x 200 px
Q: Can I load products and/or make changes to my inventory during the live stream?
A: Yes you can, everything can be done on the fly during your stream! While live, in your stream, you can use the Quick Add button to add a new product or the Manage Product button to manage your existing inventory. Image1
Q: How do customers make purchases on Drip?
A: Viewers can browse and purchase products directly from your Drip live stream via credit card or PayPal without having to leave your live stream. Drip also now accepts Crypto for payment! Check out this video
Please note that if you accept Crypto as a form of payment, you get paid what it is valued at when we transfer the currency to you (24-48 hours at least).
Q: Can customers purchase before and after a live stream?
A: If made available by the host, customers can purchase directly from your stream before you go live or from your Drip Shop Profile! Here buyers will have the choice to either Rip or Ship their purchase. It's the best of both worlds! Q: Will customers be taxed when purchasing products on Drip?
A: Drip collects sales taxes on purchases from buyers in 33 states. Over time, Drip will collect sales tax for buyers from ALL states that require sales tax on marketplace purchases.

Q: How do I know if a product was purchased?
A: When a purchase is made during the stream, you will see a purchase notification on screen and in the chat thread of your live stream. You will also be able to view orders in your profile under the Orders tab then under Purchased.
Q: Do customers receive an order confirmation?
A: Yes, your customers will receive an email from Drip with their order confirmation after purchasing.
Q: Does Drip provide seller protection?
A: Drip guarantees payment unless:
The incorrect item was sent
The item was counterfeit in some way
The item was damaged in shipping due to improper packaging
Sellers are not responsible for charge-backs

Q: Do I have to recreate a stream each time I go live on Drip?
A: Yes but you can quickly create a new stream by cloning a previously created stream in under 10 seconds. The cloning feature allows you to copy stream details and products to a new stream. Check it out
Q: Do I need fancy equipment to live stream?
A: No! All you need is:
A webcam or Mobile Phone
A stable Internet connection
Lighting - Make sure the sun/light is situated behind the camera. Also not required, but ring lights are helpful and inexpensive.
Q: Can I host the live stream from a mobile device?
A: Depends on your mobile device, make, and model. Browser support on mobile devices heavily depends on the capabilities of devices and the codec implementation of browsers.
Q: Is Drip OBS compatible? Can I use multiple cameras?
A: Yes! Drip has direct integration into OBS which allows for multmulti-cameraup. Please see this video on how to set up OBS with your Drip stream:

Q: Why is my OBS not working?
A: After you have installed the virtual camera on your OBS please note that you will need to restart your computer in order for the virtual camera to appear in the Check Audio and Video button under the Video category in your stream.
Q: How long can I go live on Drip?
A: As long as you want! We do not put a cap on the stream length but please do not leave your stream running if you are not actively selling (IE no sleep streams).
Note: If you are simulcasting to social platforms, keys are valid based on the specific platform restrictions.

Q: How do I simulcast into a Facebook group(s) from Drip?
A: Simulcasting into Facebook groups from Drip is no longer available. We are keeping an eye out for updates to this

Q: Can I simulcast into multiple platforms at the same time? And what platforms can I simulcast to?
A: Yes! Simulcast your Drip live stream to as many social channels and destinations as you’d like, simultaneously. You can simulcast on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, and even a custom URL.
Q: How can I sign into another Facebook account to simulcast from?
A: Go to the Custom field in the Simulcasting menu in your stream. Once there, type in the title of your stream then grab the URL and Stream Key from Facebook Creator Studio and put them in the same fields in Simulcasting. Click Add Key then Done and you are all set! Here is a video tutorial of this.
Q: What are the dimensions of the stream if I want to create an overlay? Will it look the same on mobile?
A: The height is retained videos are displayed in 1280 x 720 or 1920 x 1080 (same ratio). In vertical, the mobile screen we keep the height and cut the width equally from left and right depending on the screen width of the phone.
Q: How to track orders while live streaming?
A: When in the stream a seller can click Next Order and mark it. The seller also can add notes. Take a look at these images: Image1 Image2
Q: How Do I turn on/off my international Shipping settings?
A: Navigate to the top right corner and click on the profile icon. From there, access the Seller Hub. Once in the Seller Hub, locate the Shipping Settings on the left-hand side. You will find the desired option within this section. See Video Here!
Q: Will my stream be available to view after it ends?
A: Yes. The stream replay will be available immediately after the live stream ends for up to 90 days. You can find your streams under the Past Streams only if you're logged out of your account and viewing your profile as a buyer or Guest. Please log out of your Drip account in order to view the stream when accessing it here.
Q: Will I be given access to my live stream stats?
A: Yes. All the information you are looking for is under the Dashboard tab in your profile. Should you need anything additional, reach out to the Drip team and we'd be happy to help.
Q. Will I be able to see all of my stream recordings even if I disconnect and reconnect?
A. Yes. While viewing your past streams, you'll be able to play up to 12 hours of the recording. Streams will have a 60 day retention period. From November 3, 2023, we'll be purging any stream recordings older than 90 days
Q: How do I contact a buyer post-stream?
A: From your host Profile, click on the Orders tab then Sold. For each item sold, you will see a set of three dots to the far right of the item. Clicking the dots brings up a sub-menu, select Send Message.
Q: How do I view orders post live stream?

To view orders, click the arrow next to your profile picture in the top right corner of the Drip homepage. When the drop-down appears, select Profile. View image
Next click on the Orders tab and select Sold. Here you can review the product(s) that were purchased during your stream along with the customer(s) name and shipping information.
Once you have shipped your items, return to this page and click the three dots to the far right of the item and select Add Tracking and Mark as Shipped to complete the shipping process.
How Do I submit a reimbursement request?
A: Locate the Support channel in our Drip Streamer and Seller Community on Discord and click support-chat.
In the chat, type /tickets open reimbursements, and send. You will be sent to the ticket chat to add your information and we'll take care of every Monday before the end of the day
