The way your stream looks is very important. If your stream quality is poor, viewers may not stick around. Here are some areas you should focus on to ensure a high quality stream and a great buying experience:
Lighting: It’s important to have optimal lighting so viewers can easily see what’s happening on-screen and clearly see your items. We recommend purchasing a ring light to help illuminate the area where you’re streaming.
Camera: The way your stream looks also depends on the quality of your camera. If you’re using your desktop computer to go live, be sure to pick a web cam that has a high resolution. For phone streamers, the latest models of Apple and Android devices have very good pixel ratings.
Stream Backdrop: Having a great looking backdrop is also important because it is the focal point of your stream. We recommend showing product in the backdrop that is for sale or even perhaps a monitor displaying video. Here are some great examples from streamers Royale Rips (on Desktop) and UCC’s Virtual Card Shop (on mobile device)!

Publish your stream as soon as possible! Users can only interact with your stream (RSVP, pre-purchase and pre-bid) once it’s published. Here are a few ways to optimize engagement on your stream:
Pre-Show Video: We recommend having a pre-show video to draw attention to your stream and give viewers a sneak-peek at your content. This can either be a quick video about what you’re selling or maybe a montage of big pulls from past streams.

Preview Image: The image you provide in your stream will be used as the stream’s thumbnail image on Drip. Use this opportunity to include an attractive, attention-grabbing image. We have linked some Canva templates below to give you some ideas:
