Drip now offers the highly requested feature of inbox and better notifications hub under activity.
The notifications tab in mobile apps has been repurposed to "inbox"
Inbox includes two tabs:
Activity: including your notifications and updates
Messages: includes all of your messages between users
Messages: we now support full-blown 1:1 messages between users, not restricted to buyer and seller!
Prerequisites
None! This is available in production iOS and Android apps for all internal users, just make sure you have the latest version from your app store.
Tap on the inbox along the bottom app navigation
Opening the inbox now shows the two tabs
Activity (notifications)
Messages (previously only on orders)
If you don't have any notifications or messages, the tab's empty state will appear.
You can enable or disable direct messages see Messaging Tab Enabling Messaging

The activity tab (notifications) operates identically as the previous version.
In addition to notifications appearing here, you can also access notification settings directly from here via the cog icon in the top of the menu. This can be opened regardless of which tab you are on.
All notification settings are the same as previously, with the exception of direct messaging (see section below).
Click on Settings
Disable Direct Messages Here
All notification settings are the same as previously, with the exception of direct messaging (see section below).
Your list of messages between users shows up in the messages tab. Once this is available for a user this should populate with all messages they've previously had in orders between buyer and seller.
Messages are enabled for all users by default. There is a toggle in notification settings to turn on and off messages.
If this is disabled, you will not be able to send or receive messages with other users. This includes in transactions between buyer and seller.
Users who have messages disabled will not appear in the username search list when creating a new message. However, if you have an existing conversation with a user who then turns off messaging that conversation will still be visible.
If the receiving user has messaging disabled, the message sender will receive an error informing they cannot message the user.
If you have existing messages, you can click on them to open the message window where you can see and send messages.
This opens the user selection, where you can search usernames to send a message to
Click the user name or complete typing
Messages from orders largely is the same process, you still can send a message directly from the order.
When you do, it will bring you into the messages screen with the order details included:
When users send messages from their orders, the receiving party will receive an email informing them about the message. Any messages in this subsequent conversation will include email notifications.
From a 1:1 message, there is a three-dot menu in the top-right of the screen where there are options you can use:
Report User
Block User
Delete Message
If a user has an issue with a message, they can report that user to Drip support. Once they do, they can specify a reason and leave an explanation.
Blocking a user will make them no longer able to message you or tag you in streams. To do so, confirm in the menu.
Once a user is blocked:
They will not know they have been blocked.
They can technically still send you messages, however you won't receive them.
Your message will update to state the user is blocked.
You can manage your blocked users from the web (currently) in your account, but we will add this to the app as well.
