In the summer of 2023, I participated in a five-day paid internship on the set of a documentary series for Fresh Films. Building on my experience in the Fresh Films Weekly Filmmaking program, I received training on operating cameras, using audio equipment, setting up lights, interviewing and more. I then used this knowledge to assist in the production of an episode of a documentary series.

These experiences gave me a deeper understanding of the power of filmmaking and the work that goes into it.
