Create a robot diorama based on the play Romeo and Juliet.

• Students will analyze a selection from Romeo and Juliet and decide how to use art and symbolism to express their understanding of the play.

• Students will work in a group to design, build, and program a robotic diorama that represents their assigned selection. Subject covers art, engineering, ela, and technology.

Activity Steps:Divide & Research: Assign groups one of the major urban models and a specific city type (city of Atlanta).Design (CAD): Using software like Tinkercad, students design 3D models of urban infrastructure.3D Print & Assemble: Print the components and assemble them on a base map to illustrate the spatial layout and density gradients (higher density near the center, lower on the periphery).This activity covers technology, social studies, and math.
