However, Circe wanted the fisherman for herself, so she poisoned Scylla's bath instead, turning her into the monster she is. This is similar to the modern woman because they are often victims of sexual harassment, sometimes through use of drugs, such as the poison Circe used. In conclusion, Scylla and the modern woman are quite similar because both are victims of harassment.
