I joined Drew Ambassadors when I was in the 11th grade thinking that it would be just another leadership opportunity for me. I found that Drew Ambassadors is so much more than an extracurricular activity. The relationships that I formed with my peers and adults alike through this club are ones that I hold close to my heart. I learned a lot about myself and grew into the leader that I am today because of Drew Ambassadors. As a transfer student to Drew, I struggled with imposter syndrome as majority of my classmates had been going to school together since Pre-K. It was easy for me to feel like an outsider but being in Drew Ambassadors taught me how to be a student leader in an environment where I thought I couldn't be.

I have gotten the opportunity to meet and talk with the mayor, be filmed and record a voice over for my school's first ever virtual tour, and represent my grade in conversations with the school board, and get closer with my college counselor and my head of school. Overall, Drew Ambassadors was a fulfilling experience and one I will not soon forget.
