English Assignment #1: Purple Hibiscus
Before Nusku kambili did not know who she was or figured out what she wanted to be in life. In the beginning of the novel kambili did not talk alot and was concerned about what her family had in response to Papa because he was abusive.In purple hibiscus page 14 it states, “ I turned to stare at him . At least he was saying thanks the right way , the way we always did after a meal. But he was also doing what he never did : he was leaving the table before Papa had said the prayer after meal. “ Jaja “ Papa said . “ When the family was at the table Jaja did something that was not usual and the way kambili reacted reveals that she cares what Jaja and Mama say to Papa. Before Nusska Kambili would think about what she would say to Papa or would often think about it but will not say it. The last sentence of the quote shows that Papa controls the conversation at the table, therefore kambili does not really talk just think.

This romeo and Juliet play. We took a field trip to Shakespeare tavern romeo and Juliet. The two charterers that is displayed at the top is the main charters. Romeo and Juliet was written in 1597 by William Shakespeare.

Since the play was written in 1597 lots traditional ways have changed. There have been many productions of the play including, 1968 film, the Shakespeare Tavern production, the JA production, and the Royal Shakespeare Company production. Although modern casting can improve the audience’s understanding, it may not be interesting, setting and costumes are better with a combination, because costumes can be boring with traditional, modern time can distract attention off of the production, setting in the traditional time helps the audience know the century and a diverse casting.

This is my interoffice for a group. in this project we had to find a topic in school that we fix to make our school better.The topic that my group talked about, we notice that many jobs require somebody to be a creative thinker. Creative thinkers in the world make lots of money and is very famous. in our daily lives we have to be creative. Schools do not focus on creative think we focus on academic things. So we made survives and determined do students in our schools that we have enough classes to develop us a creative thinker.

The project with the intergrafic we had to make graph that goes along with the surveys . In math i made two dot plot that compares boys and girls. The dot plot shows how much boys and girls think they need to be a creative thinker when they get older. it is only two low grades but it is not bad. Many think that we all need to be a creative thinker when we get older.
I created one momma hand and the other a baby hand and both of them holding each other. The element of art in this project was line and form. The form was easy to draw not including the index finger. The index finger kept coming out like a worm and it did not look right. I wanted it to express love which I could see but it needed a little more so I put the heart around it. The nails looked too long a little and I did not want it to hurt the child so I made sure it was ok for the hand to be a little loose. The other element line was very complicated for me. Both of the hands we're going different ways and I ended up stressing over it and wanted to quit and kind of look like I did but I did not. The art was is meaning meant to show love between a mother and daughter and nobody has the type of connection with anyone else unless they consider somebody else as there mom.Even when they break apart they end up coming back as one. When the child is holding the mother hand she feels safe and protected.
This picture was made in Intro art. The point of this project was to make the shades of my face the in pink. I feel like pink is a happy color and in this picture I was very happy and I wanted to represent that. I used different shades of pink. Pink is not a real color it is just a shade of red. I had red and added it with white to make it lighter and back to make it darker. You can also see the red in the project. First we had to make the original picture pixel and black and white.

This was my favorite project in Intro art. We made the bowl and put ice cream inside of it. The bowl was edible but it had too much sugar so we did not eat it all. You can put anything into the bowl. You can also make the bowl different colors. You can even mix the colors together. You can also just have the bowl what ever size you want. It was very fun to make and I recommend everybody to do with with your family, it would be a great bonding experience. Than eat the ice cream while watching a movie.
