In this class, we learn more words, how to write, read and speak in Spanish. My teacher Ms.Diaz create an engaging and positive environment for me and my fellow students. The proficiency level for Spanish 3 is Intermediate Mid. We have to write, read and speak in complex sentences, and also use more of our verbs, describing people. Added extra detail and etc
In Spanish Three, we had to do a project called El Dia de Los Muerto. In class, we have learned that during Halloween in Mexico they celebrate the dead. The movie Poco Loco is showing the celebration of the day of the dead. In this project, we decorate the Ofrenda. An Ofrenda is a picture of the died and it is decorated with Mariigolds the flower, candles, skull heads, bred, and more photos. I think that it is nice to recognize the ones that have passed before us and continuing to recognize them with the celebration. I had used my cousin who as passed away in 2018. and decorated his Ofrenda.
In this project I am describing my favorite artist Yayoi Kussama. I am writing giving a short biography, her art form, styles, what she is known for describing her master piece and giving my reaction to her art. Art was the last lesson on the school year and it was very fun. I did not only write about Kuusama but also learn about different artist during this lesson
During this time of year it was almost time for STAMP testing. Ms. Diaz decide to give my classmates and I a project where we speak. during this unit we was learning Rutines. We cannot have a whole paragraph on the slide just reading it, that is not what we do on the test. I am describing my night rutine.

Overall experience
I love my spanish class unfortunately this will be my last year in high school learning spanish. During this whole school year Mrs. Diaz has pushed me to get intermediate Mid in reading, specking, writing, and understanding listening. I improved a lot by confidently talking to my peers on zoom and constantly practicing while I’m at home. My favorite teacher is also leaving and will truly be missed.

Science Fictional Project
For my final project, I have made a cake/ 3-D model. The idea was for the whole project to be based on science fiction. The free space allowed me to make a cake that was around the idea of it being science fiction. The theme that I wanted to do originally was space travel, and aliens. They have all played a part in my 3-D model cake. The aliens have already traveled through space to land on the earth.
At first, I wanted the whole thing to be a cake but unfortunately, it is hard to make the spaceship into a cake. I bought a foam ball from hobby lobby and covered fondant around the sphere. I cut a door out of the sphere and laid it down on the floor. The ground was very easy to make. I bought a green spray that was edible from the hobby lobby. I sprayed that on the bottom first. I had then sprayed it on my hands and found out that it was the nastiest thing I have ever tasted( it tasted like a permanent marker. I topped the chocolate cake off with green frosting. Earlier I had made a green vanilla cake. I cut the crust and edges off, then I took it and crumbed it into pieces. I put the piece on top of the frosting to make it look like grass. The aliens are edible but the hat and shoes are not. My people are also edible and I colored them black and brown. I like the way that it has turned out.
The story of the cake is Aliens get smart enough to travel to the earth. They have the smartest idea to find out how to adapt to anything, any weather so they reproduce everywhere all around the universe. They heard around this time it is Christmas. They decided to send their baby eggs on our earth to teach humans how to reproduce and adopt for a gift. Humans are always cynical of the situation and think they want to take over the planet. They are so scared of them and start to run away. There is one that feels like going up to the aliens and the rest running for their lives. So, the cake is a flat rectangle cake with a ufo on top of the rectangle layer. The eggs are walking out of the ufo( you know a chicken little egg has feet. Imagine that but green). The people are eatable but they are going to be running away.

All second Semester has been dedicated to a very amazing book called kindred. I would recommend every single person read this book. The slides demestrate a pitch my group members and I have put together. During film we all was assigned a different job and had to do activities according to it. The budget of the film is 5 million dollars. We all put our shoes in an actual job and the slides is my crew SDJ trying to get our movie funded for the book we read. My group and classmates was competting to get our pitch funded ( same book, different personalites).

I really enjoyed this beautiful project, although I did not like the fact of lack of sleep. I got it done on time. In the video I explain to anyone what photosynthesis and cellular respiration is. It was not hard because I too a lot of notes on the lesson. I would consider doing this again

In this project we used a previous assignment called A Map of Myself. In that assignment One aspect of our identity seldom acts independent of the other aspects. Rather, different aspects of our identity interrelate with one another to shape a unique experience for each of us. We explained what identities that we are aware of and others that we are not. Than we put everything that we identify as a Portrait. Map of Myself-
For Class my group members and I had to create a video about a on going social justice issue. We have choosen Women's Right. The significance of this video is to explain to the Drew community the hardships of women daily lives.It is affecting our black women more than others. We want the same opportunity as men do. Women are tired of being belittled. We want to be given the same treatment as men. WE WANT TO BE TREATED EQUALLY. Today my group stands up and support women rights movement.
