AP Human Geography

In this assignment I watched a video and learned why all maps are inaccurate. The video described that maps cant 100% copy a globe because its flat. The video also explained the different ways the globe has been portrayed on a map. The video also concluded that the best way to see the earth would be on a globe.

I chose this assignment because it taught me that maps aren't correct. This shocked me because before this I thought maps replicated the earth on a flat surface. But after watching that video, it did open my eyes to know that since the earth is flat the it cant be portrayed on a flat map. This is why I chose this assignment

For this assignment we had to memorize the 50 states and where they were. This was hard because there are 50 of them and we had to memorize the names and the placement of each state. The populous states were easy but the denser states were harder to remember but I remembered them all

I learned where all the states and where they are. I chose this assignment because this is one of the most fun assignments of the year. I also chose this one because this can help me in life to know where things are and their names.
