Q.Cross E-Binder World histroy

World History binder

My incredible world history binder brings me to ancient civilization in Asia, Africa, and Europe. I discover information about several ancient societies as I read its pages. I feel as though I'm traveling back in time to witness how people used to live, from the massive structures in Egypt to the creative developments in Asia and the clever things people accomplished in Europe. My understanding of how the world has developed and how the things we do today are related to the past has improved thanks to this binder.

Ancient Civilization

The Ancient Civilization project was about our class trying to build our own civilization. It was very hot outside and we started to complain about the temperature. We had to build mud bricks and connect string around the bamboo sticks to build housing for us. The Indus River civilizations remained hidden for years before the 19th century. It was discovered 3300 Bc when farming and settlements grew to cities. It disappeared in 1500 BCE.

Ancient Mesopotamia is connected to steam because it involved chemistry. This resulted in a future as we now built the foundation of technology and cities. The mud brick makes it have a compound to connect chemistry and world history.

Columbian Exchange Cookoff

The columbian exchange was between eastern and western hemisphere which exchanged animals, plants, and diseases. The Europeans took the native american land. This project is related to the columbian exchange because we cook food for either the western hemisphere or eastern hemisphere. We couldn’t use the other hemisphere foods that originated there. This project helped me understand that the western hemisphere had alot of the food that you wouldn’t think originate from there like potatoes. The eastern hemisphere had diseases which killed the populationa and had most of the animals and food.
