For this project, we were tasked with creating a rocket using baking soda based on Newton's Laws. Newton's Laws were three physical laws of how forces cause objects to move, stop, or change direction. The three laws were Law of Inertia, Law of Force and Acceleration, and Law of Action-Reaction. We used elements of art and design to create our rocket, using materials such as straws, vinegar, water bottles, toilet paper, baking soda, and more. I worked with my classmates Jonathan Thompson, Chaise Gordon, and Kennedy Smith and together we built our rocket. However, our rocket was not as successful as the others. It didn't take off very far and it bubbled up mostly. Despite its failure, I learned an important lesson in trying regardless of the outcome and to just enjoy the journey and not focus only on the destination. Here are some videos below of the process and how it turned out!
