Newton's Rocket

We first emptied a water bottle, then got 3 straws and taped them to 3 different sides of the water bottle. After the straws were secure, we went to the sink and filled the bottle halfway with vinegar with a funnel. Afterward, we decided which cork would fit in our water bottle. At first, the cork we chose didn't fit. So we had to make a modification and choose another cork that would fit our water bottle. Using a single ply of toilet paper and baking soda, we rolled it up and then taped it to the cork.

Our rocket was not as successful as the others. It didn't take off very far and it bubbled up mostly.
