For this project, there were 5 checkpoints we had to complete to turn this assignment in. First, we had to take 5 photos of the mock crime scene setup. Then, we had to log the evidence from the crime scene into an evidence log. There were 20 pieces of evidence and had to show if the evidence were physical or trace, the relative location, the department for example like, biology or microscopy, and how would we collect the evidence. Third, we had to make our own electronic crime scene sketch based on the pictures that were taken and the location of each piece of evidence. Fourth, we had to read the Deadly Picnic Background Info and complete a criminal report. Lastly, we had to do answer questions and record a Flipgrid based on our answers. This assignment was unique and different from anything I never completed before.
For this assignment, we were required to watch three parts of the Atlanta Child Murders Documentary and complete three enclosed documents that went with the documentary. It was very informational and emotional, but it was something that I have never heard of happening in Atlanta because I was born in this city and still live in this city. For the Atlanta Child Murders project, we were asked the question, "Do you believe Wayne Williams is responsible for the death of the children in the Atlanta Child Murders? Why or Why not?" We had to continue and do more research on the suspect, Wayne Williams, to see if he is guilty or innocent. On google slides, we had to include 3 pictures and information for our belief. Lastly, we had to record ourselves a 2-minute flipgrid reviewing the information on the slides.
