This semester in US History, we had to write a letter to the new US History students. In our letters, we had to give the biggest piece of advice to the upcoming students. We had to write the students tips and tricks to be successful in US History class and explain how the tips will help the students. We had to explain the level of difficulty of the class and give two specific examples of what next year's students will learn. I had to identify two mistakes I made this school year and I had to provide clear advice on how future students can avoid these mistakes that I provided. When I wrote this letter, I felt like I was giving these students insight when it came to giving them advice and what to expect when future students take US History. I really enjoyed writing this letter.
Financing Life Project

This semester in Algebra 2, we had to complete a Financing Life Project. We had to research what career we wanted and find out how much our job paid in the area that we wanted to live in. We had to calculate the annual and monthly salary and find 3 different cars we wanted to buy. We had to determine how much we could afford as a monthly payment for a house. After we found out our budget for a house, we had to search for a house we wanted to buy on Zillow.com. We had to look for homes in the area that we wanted to live in and included a picture of the house and a description of the house. I feel like this project taught us a lot about life and how we should spend our money. One thing I learned from this project was learning how to save money and have a budget and also how to take control of spending money when buying a car and a house.

This semester in Biology, we had to create an animation project based on photosynthesis and cellular respiration in terms that children can understand. My partner and I created a creative project which has illustrations and dialogue. We had to use Bitmoji and Google Slides to create our animation. There was a lot of work that had to be done for this project. We used story maps and storyboards as a reference to our project. Even though it took us a while to fully complete our project, I feel like me and my partner did a really great job working together on this project. We put a lot of hard work into this animation project.
