This week in Forensic Sciences we learned the value of Blood Pattern Analysis. Therefore, we need to understand basic human anatomy. We researched the structure and function of the human circulatory system.
There are three types of blood vessels. Those vessels are arteries, veins, and capillaries. Arteries carry oxygen/nutrient-rich blood away from the heart. Capillaries allow oxygen, carbon dioxide, nutrients, and water in and out of the bloodstream. Veins simply carry blood to the heart. These are the three types of blood vessels.
