In this project, I engaged in the causes and impacts of sea level rise through videos, discussions, and data analysis. I learned about thermal expansion, ice melting, and community resilience efforts to address flooding and rising tides. The project emphasized proactive planning and collaboration to build long-term solutions for climate adaptation.

In this project, I explored sea level rise in coastal Georgia by analyzing verified tidal data from Fort Pulaski and comparing it with predicted sea levels. Using regression analysis in Desmos, I modeled sinusoidal functions to represent both datasets, identified patterns, and evaluated the accuracy of predictions. Additionally, I investigated the concept of resilience, focusing on strategies like dune restoration and community collaboration to mitigate the impacts of rising sea levels.
