My name is Maverick George and I have big plans for myself. My family is big in general but also big on soccer. It's kind of a part of my identity in a way. My mom played soccer and likewise, all my siblings and I have thrived in the game since we were three. In fact, we enjoy soccer so much that all of us actually referee youth games at the Grassroots level. Aside from playing soccer, I like extreme gaming (you can probably tell from my background picture above - RIP Technoblade), watching anime, and talking about it all with my siblings.
I want to grow into an independent person who can do the things I love and support my family. I've always had a passion for mathematics and business, so I'm thinking of pursuing a career as an accountant. I will also explore my athletic interest, aiming to play college soccer and ultimately play professional.
STEAM education emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach, integrating concepts and skills from various fields to promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.Students might explore topics such as motion, forces, energy, chemical reactions, cell biology, genetics, and more. Hands-on experiments, data analysis, and scientific inquiry played a crucial role in my education. My teacher Ms Simmons made sure to never make a class boring by incorporating all these things.I thank her for always helping me even though I didn’t always understand what she was teaching me.
Mathematics forms the foundation of many STEAM disciplines. In 10th grade, students typically study advanced topics like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and precalculus. These mathematical concepts are crucial for understanding scientific principles, data analysis, and problem-solving in other STEAM subjects.STEAM is something that connects with each other. Learning math will help you in technology.Learning science will help students with technology. These are just some of the ways that STEAM is connected.
