Task Description Design and create an advertisement flyer for the theater department at Drew Charter School.
Lesson Overview
In this lesson, students use critical thinking and research skills to determine how a specific form of technology evolved. Working with a partner or small group, students start with where there chosen
technology was prior to 1900 and then take it through 5 more steps of evolution to the present day. Students use the Internet for research to determine what had to happen between each step to move their technology to the next iteration.
I worked with a small group of my classmates and our geometry teacher, Ms. Wilson, to create this massive tetrahedron sculpture. This sculpture is made up of over 700 individual small tetrahedrons which students at Drew Charter School had drawn on. My job was to fold and assemble many of these individual tetrahedrons and assemble the final sculpture.
For my final project in Spanish class, I created an original book written in Spanish. To make this, I used my skills from earlier in the year, such as the past tense, storybook vocabulary, and more. Some challenges while creating the book were not knowing all the correct vocabulary to make my story the best it could be. I overcame this by using the Spanish dictionary to find the words I did not previously know.
