15 Pieces AP ART. -Mother nature 

We had to create a series of 15 pieces that all relate to the same theme. The theme I chose was how global warming affected animals in nature and the negative effects it has on them. 

1. Search the WEB. Look for formal patterns in Henry Moore's modern sculptures. 

2. Create a piece inspired by this artist's sculptures.

Standard:  VAHSAH.CR.1 Create works of art that reinforce understanding of the visual and/or

contextual aspects of specific art historical eras (e.g. fresco in Renaissance, manuscripts in

Medieval).

Culminating Task: We are going to do a gallery walk to discuss 

1. your artistic intentions, 

2. the choices you made and 

3. the solutions you found during the creative process, and 

4. the purpose or uses of your piece.

5. How are Henry Moore's sculptures present in your piece?

Your small sculptures will be displayed in the classroom as if we were in a real exhibition. 

Write a report in your notebook prior to your presentation, take a picture of it and post it here. 

Take 4 pictures of your piece from 4 different points of view and post them here.
