Yo Soy America Ferrera  - children Book about Ferrera 

In this activity, I created a short children’s book in Spanish, modeled after the "Ordinary People Change the World" series, featuring the life and accomplishments of actress and activist América Ferrera. Throughout the process, I applied my knowledge of storytelling and language to craft simple, clear sentences that would be engaging and accessible for young readers. The task required me to use Spanish vocabulary and sentence structures, ensuring the language was age-appropriate while also capturing the essence of Ferrera's inspiring journey. One challenge was finding the right balance between making the language easy enough for children while also conveying meaningful, complex ideas such as self-empowerment and social activism. The activity allowed me to enhance my skills in creative writing, translation, and cultural adaptation, as I had to consider both the language and the character's background to create a relatable narrative.
