The process of my ceramic tile was that I had to pick an atom and then I had to do research about the atom and then we had to make a sketch about my atom . Then make a real ceramic so I got clay and sliced it in half made measurements then made designs on the side showing patterns and the number of my atom and the name of my atom which was MO . The improvements I would have made were when I was making it I would have made my edges neater and more presentable . And my ceramic tile connects with chemistry because my tile is on a periodic table with its measurement and symbol .
I have been learning how Ancient civilization countries survived and build their land and things to survive .
The project was about survival and how to make a live observation of what they had to do back in the Ancient civilizations .
So what we did was that we made a mud block showing how ancient civilization were building . And the steps we did for the mud block is mixing dirt with water and also mixing it with your hands or feet then putting the mud inside a wooden square block and waited till it molded then two people each had to get a side to pull up straight to make sure the mud block stays intact and that the mud block comes out right .
I observed sticks being tied together with a rope and how it took more than one person to make a mud block and that people used their hands to mix up the mud together and some people used their feet and also when they were putting the sticks together they were building a small home out of sticks by tying them together with rope .
I learned how it would be like to build structures during ancient times.
This relates to math because we have to measure the length of the sides on the brick.

I AM POEM
I AM POEM
I am Layla Sheppard,
I am the smiles in selfies and the love for myself,
I am chasing the future I've always dreamed of.
I am the hope that life can be better than it seems.
I am an empath,
I am the silent tears of strangers I’ve never met,
I am the hunger of those without a place to call home,
I am the longing for happiness in every soul.
I am the love I share freely,
I am the heartbroken cries of those who are rejected,
I am the strength that rises after every fall,
I am the triumph that blooms from the struggle.
