Q1 Driving question: How can I design and build a toy that respects my friend’s preferences?

Welcome to our website! Each kindergartner has displayed empathy and compassion by working on this project. Our fantastic kindergartners created a toy that their friend would enjoy based on interview information. This site captures the toy building process!

We are laying the foundation for social justice topics that Drew students will continue to explore as they matriculate through our school. We introduced empathy in a fun and age-appropriate way for our kinders: friendship and toys!
