The task that we had was to create a trip to a Spanish-speaking country.  This assignment required us to show off our Spanish-speaking skills by describing the trip. We needed to know vocabulary for getting around town and traveling to explain our trip. Collaboration played a big role due to the fact that we were in groups and we were able to help each other out with our responsibilities. There were some challenges with getting the needed information and remembering what we needed to explain.

This project tasked us with making two recipes of a dish and a dessert from different countries. I chose Puerto Rico, and I decided to make a recipe for Pernil (A pork dish) and Limber de Coco (A frozen popsicle treat). This project ensured we were familiar with the vocabulary from the healthy living unit. It was challenging to translate the English recipe into informal Spanish because I encountered some words I was not familiar with; however, I was able to work through these challenges and complete this fun and challenging project.

For our final project we were tasked with creating a childrends book and recording an audio book version of it. This book had to be created in the past tense wich spanish has two, imperfect and preterit. Imperfect tense is used for backround information and preterit is used for things with a specific start and end point. I created a story about two freinds and how they found a way to hang out no matter what.
