Reviosing Mechanicsvile

For this project, we were tasked to research a neighborhood in Atlanta and change it for the better. My group chose Mechanicsville. Mechanicville is a smaller community in the heart of Atlanta. There were struggles with collaboration and getting the needed information. I learned that I am lucky to live in such a safe well well-maintained community. I also learned that geometry plays a huge role in the layout of a city and how roads can bisect communities, separating them.
