Solar balloons are big balloons or plastic bags that float because of Charles gas law. Charles's Law is, when you heat up a gas while keeping its pressure and amount constant, it expands, and when you cool it down, it contracts. When the air in the balloon heats up it rises because the air inside the balloon is hotter than the air outside the balloon.
