What is Drew like? How is Drew different than other schools? Why did you choose to attend Drew?
Drew Charter School is a public charter school in Atlanta that focuses on hands-on, project-based learning, especially in STEAM subjects. At Drew, students don’t just memorize information—they work on real-world problems and build critical thinking skills. What makes Drew different from other schools is its strong sense of community, smaller school environment, and focus on giving every student equal opportunities to succeed. Teachers are supportive, and students get more personal attention, which helps them stay engaged and grow.
I’ve been at Drew since Pre-K. I originally attended because my older brother went there. After that, my siblings and I followed. Over time, Drew has become a big part of my life, helping me grow both academically and personally.
