Forensic Fairytales

In this project, we first read our chosen fairy tale. After finishing the Grimm version of the tale, we then developed what the case and evidence would look like. After that, we created book covers based on our forensic fairy tale.

Deadly Picnic

There were quite a few steps to this project. First we observed a mock crime scene and documented the evidence. After that, we were given profiles of suspects. Using the profiles and the evidence, we then determined who the murderer was. During this project, we made crime scene sketches using our technology and art skills.

Atlanta Child Murders

The Atlanta Child Murders were a series of killings that took place between 1979 and 1981. All but two of the thirty victims were black children. We watched a documentary of the murders and case and were then asked to do a project on the case. In the project, we were asked to decide whether or not Wayne Williams, the current person charged with the murders, was innocent or guilty. After that, we were asked to explain our point of view using research and imagery and display it as a flipgrid presentation. I determined that Wayne Williams committed twelve of the murders based on fiber evidence that was found on twelve victims.
