Use this sticker as you seek understanding of the assignment or problem. Typically this will come from the community, your instructor, or your own observation. You must completely understand the objectives of the project to be successful, so this step is crucial. Develop active listening skills! Entry events for a project are usually a great place to start!
Use this sticker as you examine a problem from all angles. Ask questions, observe people, situations, and artifacts. Develop empathy for the problem that people facing the situation are experiencing. Find out what you know and what you need to know. Explore all of it!
Use this sticker as you are discussing and exploring ideas for how to solve a problem. Record these ideas quickly. Ideas may come in the form of graphic organizers, notes, drawings, outlines, or video blogs. Remember to seek feedback before progressing to the next step (then use the Evaluation/Modification sticker).
Use this sticker as you share your more formal ideas--3-d prototypes, mock-ups, drafts, skits, simulations, and storyboards. Remember to seek feedback before progressing to the next step (then use the Evaluation/Modification sticker).
Use this sticker when you are evaluating your decisions at each step in the process. When you note a user’s feedback also note what you intend to do about it going forward.
Use this sticker to explain how you are trying your prototype with real users. Try it out and note the way it performs and is understood by a real audience. Explain methodology and note observations.
Augusta savage 2/3/25
We watched a video on an artist named Augsta savage. She was an african-american sculpture artist. Augusta was born in florida. Her parents didn’t really like her doing artwork, but she still did it. She would make clay ducks in her front yard. In her later years she made a lot of her artwork with metals like copper and iron. She made a lot of artwork of people. She made a lot of great pieces. One of them was called gamen. Gamen is a sculpture of a little african american boy during the harlem renaissance.
We made paper in visual arts class. We put 2 full blender full of water in a bucket. Then we filled the blender up halfway with water and put in paper. After that we put a screen in the water and put it on a towel. We dried the wet paper on the towel. After that we let it dry.
This is a Chinese painting I made in class. We had to watch a video on how to paint these paintings. For me i just didn't really think I just did.

Today we finished our slides for our cooking recipe. We made the QR code that had our video and put it onto our recipe book thing.
This is our natural dyed towel we made. We boiled blueberries to get a blue color. Then we put baking soda in the bowl to make it green. After that we put the towel in the bowl.
I did thing in art class. We had to take 2 different color pieces of paper and cut them. After we cut them we wove them together.
This is a weaving project we did in visual art class. We had to work in partners of 2. My partner was Everett. These had to do something with chemistry . It had to be Ionic or Covalent bonds. Our weaving things are Ionic. Ionic means it attracts opposites of itself.

10/11/24
Today was the last day of recording and editing. We will be editing over our fall break so we can get a good grade. All we need to do is to edit the green screen scenes.
10/3/24
Today we finished all but one scene. The scene that we couldn’t finish is when Caesar died in the senate meeting.
10/1/24
Today we finished recording 2 out of the 6 scenes we got. I think we could have had more scenes done if we didn’t get distracted by some people.
9/24/24
Today we started recording for our ancient civilizations. We recorded one scene today and it was scene three. We didn'f finish recording that scene but got close.
9/19/24
Today we did a couple of things. The first thing we did was highlight direct/indirect characterzation in our script. Also highlighted compound and complex sentences. After that we made a flyer for our movies that we are making. Then we made storyboards for our movie so we can go play by play. Lastly we looked at our costumes.
9/13/24
Today we did a table thing when each group talk about their script. My group didn't go since everyone wasn't there.
9/12/24
Today we finished our script and made adjustments if needed. Then we checked the rule brick and finished.

These are my math videos explaining 3 different problems
On this project we had to spell the word Chemvas with tools in art and chemistry. A tool I learned to use is the one on google to make the background of an image transparent. My word looks like it is all over the place. The background makes it hard to read. I liked making the word with all the things. The thing I didn't like about this assignment is making the background of the picture on google transparent and finding a good picture. I think I could use these tools in the future.
Visual Arts II- How do you feel about art?
7/29/24
When I think of art I think of the moana lisa. Then I see someone put trash in a box I personally think that's just a hunk of junk. Also seeing someone tape something to a wall that doesn't use much skill. In my opinion I think real art is like paintings or building something. In conclusion I think real art is not taping stuff on a wall or putting junk in a box. I can use one of my classes like engineering concepts as art. I can use that class as art because you can use your imagination to create anything you want.
