In World History I learned about religion and the history of stained glass. Stained glass has been used in many religious buildings such as temples, mosques, and chapels. Stained glass has been used to depict religious figures and stories in many different religions across the world.
In Geometry I learned about the properties of parallelograms and used the properties to design a piece of stained glass. The inspiration for my stained glass was some of our other classmates works combined with our own original ideas. In the end, we decided we'd like a geometric and modern type design. The shapes I included in my design were squares, rectangles, circles, triangles, and a rhombus. I made sure that my parallelograms abided by the properties of parallelograms which are opposite sides are parallel, opposite sides are congruent, opposite angles are congruent, consecutive angles are supplementary, and all of the diagonals bisect one another.
This is my water bottle design for our project in Geometry class. I designed a weight-shaped water bottle with two pink spheres and one cylinder connecting them in the middle to make a barbell. The name of my water bottle brand is Workout Water.
This is my final project for Geometry. I worked with my partner, Jordyn Dixon, to create a survey for our peers to answer the question, "Should schools be required to fund resources for disabled students?"
