We were able to welcome our first 3rd party expert Dr. Teresa Jordan, a local dentist. Dr. Jordan talked about the importance of choosing healthy foods and how food has an effect on our teeth and overall health. This quarter, Dr. Teresa Jordan taught us how to take care of our teeth by brushing them twice a day and flossing the sugar bugs away! She also showed us which foods can get stuck on our teeth and cause cavities if we do not brush them off of our teeth. We learned that healthy foods are the best options to keep our teeth healthy. Thank you to our incredible experts! We had so much fun learning from you!

For the second part of our entry event, the students had the opportunity to learn about the life cycle of a plant. Through this experiment, our students were able to observe how seeds and plants grow and change through their different phases.
