Healthy Plate & Mediterranean Diet
One of Georgia State University's student nutrition and wellness specialists joined our students on STEAM day to introduce them to the health benefits of the Meditterranean Diet. Students had the opportunity to explore the cultures in this part of the world, how they eat, and sample their delectable and colorful ways of eating the rainbow.
After learning about the Mediterranean Diet, students used their knowledge of the different food groups to create a healthy plate, making sure to include an item from each food group.
