For this assignment in World Literature, me, Daphne, Amarion, and Gregory made a recipe card of an interesting dish on Canva. This dish had to have the ingredients from the cultures of our group members. I chose rice and spring onions.
For this project, me, Daphne, and Zoe aimed to answer the question “How can we create a sustainable and inclusive food system that promotes cultural diversity, health, and social equity?”. For it, I created unique and creative pottery meant to represent starvation in the form of a mug with a skull on the front of it. For it, I used clay and glaze to make it look unique and interesting. Although I messed up on the glazing and had a thin and watery layer, it turned out nice in the end, looking somewhat marbled.
