Art

I created a digital collage using Sketchpad, incorporating symbols from both art and chemistry, such as beakers and brushes. I also integrated various textures in the background to add depth and visual interest. To enhance the composition, I used a mix of science and art materials, blending creativity with technical elements.

Our assignment was to illustrate our assigned element from the periodic table. My element is Beryllium I did my best attempt in order to demonstrate this using what I have learned. Beryllium is the crust of the earth I tried my best to show the crust of the earth. One difficulty I experienced was the actual illustration, it was hard trying to show perspective but believe in the end and it payed off.

I made this piece of art because I thought it would be cool if I make a l bowl out of a different shapes. This project was cool because it made me think outside my confront zone. One thing that was difficult was making the different shapes. One thing that was easy was painting it. This project was really fun I hope we get to do something like this again.

Deeply Rooted was a whole grade level project for 2nd quarter, which sought to answer how symbols can reflect cultural differences and similarities. We researched the use of symbols around the world and came up with our own symbols that reflect our modern lives. In Art class we created hand made paper and Borax crystals which we used to make symbols. I chose to make a peace since, which symbolizes how the world need to be a happier places . Bending the paper was difficult and next time I would like to make it bigger and possibly add more color contrast to make it noticeable in the PBL. On the day of the showcase, our work was featured alongside performances representing cultures around the world

Dawn Rahmaan - Change is Gonna Come 2023

In our regular classroom instruction this year, STEAM is utilized frequently. Science, technology, engineering, art, and math are collectively referred to as STEAM. For our fundamental education, we employ technology. To develop many things, we employ engineering. We create various things with the aid of art. Math is necessary for daily use since we utilize it to determine measures for making various items.

In my tenth grade year, I had developed significantly. I've gained knowledge on how to develop, create, and invent new ideas. I learned this year how to complete my assignment on time. I realized this year how much STEAM is used in regular classroom instruction. I really enjoyed this tenth grade year. The skills that I have learned will be skills that I will use throughout my high school’s years.

World History

Today we did a interactive group activity about what we been learning. We have been learning about the Egypt, Mesopotamia, India and China ancient civilization. This project was about how they used to build their homes. The things we did to build the brick mode was we had to get mudd, water, shovels and pine straw we had to mix it with our and put the mixture in a brick mode to build the brick. Some things I observe was it is not easy to make a brick and you have to be patient and saw how you have to work together to make bricks . I learned that it took them a lot of time to build stuff.

Geometry

We created a stained glass piece, drawing inspiration from last year’s design to develop our own unique patterns. The three elements of art we focused on were shape, color, and line. For the principles of design, we incorporated pattern and repetition. We carefully measured and crafted various shapes to ensure they were similar and congruent, achieving balance and harmony in our final piece.
