My E-learning Experience (Entry 1: 5/8/2020)
My experience with E-learning has been a journey through uncharted waters... I thought that being in the comfort of my home would be easier to get work done, but that has been the opposite for me. There have been many ups and downs during my E-learning journey.
Negatives:
1.My sister is a newborn and is prone to crying which makes it difficult to concentrate.
2.Another instance is when my power went out due to a storm and the wifi would not work. Teachers should have lenience because every child may not be able to complete work on time due to their technology access.
3. For me, it is hard to juggle so many assignments and google meet/zoom meetings for every class. Some teachers don't remind their students that they are holding meetings for class or they remind them on so many different platforms. An improvement could be to only use one program for live meetings. Some teachers use Google Meet and others use Zoom so there needs to be one universal app/platform that every teacher uses to make things easier.
Positives:
1. I do like being able to wake up in my own home and be able to learn independently without a teacher presence.
2. I also think that I need a designated work area like in school because I tend to do my work in my bed or in the kitchen which sometimes can decrease my productivity.
3. E-learning has forced me to be more organized and make a schedule that is like school but more lenient.
