Bank of America Financial Literacy Challenge

The Bank of America Financial Literacy Challenge was a game that taught us important lessons about managing money. In the game, we learned how to save money and use credit cards wisely. One strategy I used to save was setting aside $100–$150 into my savings each month, which helped me stay on track to reach my savings goals. At first, the credit card portion was a bit tricky to understand, but I eventually realized that to build credit, it’s important to use your credit card instead of always choosing debit. By the end of the game, I had built a credit score of 608.The images above show the badges I earned and almost earned—throughout the game. The badge that means the most to me is “Worker Level 4” because it reflects my strong work ethic. I'm also proud of earning “Credit Card Level 2,” as it shows how much effort I put into learning and building my credit. I finished the game with $10,087.86, and I believe that if the game had gone on longer, I could have earned even more.
