Boron is a chemical that comes from springs. boron could be found in eye drops and boron supplements. In my image i showed boron coming out of a volcano .The boron is the supplements.

the movie is about woman empowerment. Trees relate to the film because they used them for palm oil and for battle. They used it in battle and used it on there skin. They're culture is similar because they talk the same as us. A person without knowledge of their history is like a tree without roots is similar to the film because when they were slaves. No I did not know about the tribes before that. Education could impact us because we wasn't taught about the Agojie tribe. If I had the opportunity to ask the maker of the film, was there real weapons used in the film?

Deeply Rooted was a whole grade level project for 2nd quarter, which sought to answer how symbols can reflect cultural differences and similarities. We researched the use of symbols around the world and came up with our own symbols that reflect our modern lives. In Art class we created hand made paper and Borax crystals which we used to make symbols. I chose to make love rock, which symbolizes how love. Bending the paper was difficult and next time I would like to make it bigger and possibly add more color contrast to make it noticeable in the PBL. On the day of the showcase, our work was featured alongside performances representing cultures around the world.

This unit we learned about the Columbian exchange. Which is the trading of fruits, vegetables and animals from the western and eastern. The defining events that caused this is Europeans' exploration, conquest, and settlement of the Americas. Three items that were transferred were horses, sugar plants, and diseases. I like Potatoes which are made from potatoes which are from the western hemisphere. I like peaches which come from the eastern hemisphere. I helped my group by heating up the griddles and cleaning the pans. We made turkey sweet potatoes and regular potatoes.

so in chemistry we are learning about reactions. The way we showed this is by heating up copper. the reason we heated up copper is because it can make a nice design on the cooper. we used a candle to make the heat and we would hover the piece of copper over a fire
