To answer the question above, I'm going to say that art is everything. I say this because I feel like as long as you feel that whatever you made is special then it's considered art. In my opinion I think that anything can be art as long as it has some sort of twist. I believe art is originality. Make something special and it can be art!
AP WORLD HISTORY (UNIT ZERO REFLECTIONS)
The neolithic revolution was a good thing for most people during that time period, it led to injustices within religions, social classes, and between Genders. The Neolithic revolution led to injustices within Religions because it created the first divine beings or gods and the many pre-Axial religious beliefs, and rituals associated with them. It created injustices within social classes because The traditional view is that the shift to agricultural food production supported a denser population, which in turn supported larger sedentary communities, the accumulation of goods and tools, and specialization in diverse forms of new labor. It affected genders because the work that produced food became relegated to men, and household chores became the women's job. Men came to be the dominant gender in society.
although it may be surprising, in the early neolithic period they had plenty of technology inventions .
Technology during that period weren’t really used for hunting. Throughout this period, humans made advancements in tools, weapons, pottery, and textiles, demonstrating that societies grew more advanced. When it grew more advanced people began to use them more. For example Polished axes and blades were very popular. They became popular because more people began to want them because they didn’t really use any tools.
The growth of interregional trade was encouraged by innovations in existing transportation technologies. Improved transportation technologies and commercial practices led to an increased volume of trade and expanded the geographical range of existing trade routes, including the trans-Saharan trade network. The diffusion and exchange of religions and religious beliefs is an example of interregional exchange.
The centralized units have a rather hierarchical management system, while a decentralized system is characterized by a rather horizontal management system. An example of a centralized government is Bureaucracy. Bureaucracy helped enforce the centralized rule because it allowed only one unit to make decisions and determine goals and objectives.
One term that we used this year was “Neolithic Period”, we used this term to describe the agricultural period before 1200 BC. Another term you should remember is “Codification”. We used codification to describe how people would improve and grow their religion/beliefs. Codification means to write out a belief system. We also used diaspora which means the spread out of people from their homelands to new places. You should also remember “anti-semitism”, which is basically hatred for Jews. Another significant term is “scapegoats”. Scapegoats is when you place the blame on someone else. The final significant term that we used is “Inflation”, which is there are rapidly rising prices in the economy.
Today in class we completed our plot diagram. We filled out each blox to describe our story's Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, and Resolution. We also included The Protagonist, Antagonist, and Theme of the story.
In this video you will see me explaining all the questions that I got wrong on the exam. I explained how I got that answer, why that answer was wrong, and how my new answer is now correct.
10/31 Visual Arts - Cordarius Williams
I have been taught about linear patterns and single point perspective in art. and I use this in my Engineering class when I'm doing a drawing practice.
One thing that I've done this year that demonstrates my understanding of principles of design and elements of art was creating a physical mandala. In our mandala's we used patterns, colors, value, repetition etc.
When I'm planning and processing projects, I experiment with different possibilities like tools and colors or design in my artwork. I can show my process by uploading on my learning journal and compare my artworks.
A famous art that I've learned about so far is ancient mandalas and how people used them in ancient times to represent their culture and religion.
Geometry 11/9/23 - Translations
Describe a Translation: A translation is the process of moving a shape while keeping it the same.
What have you learned about Translations: I have learned that a translation is only a slide that keeps a shape congruent and rigid. Also, the letters stay in the same place.
How can Translations be used in real life: Translations are used in real life on an elevator because an elevator slides from one place to another and stays the same.
All-American Food Ad
For the last few weeks in revision class, each of us were assigned to a group. In this group we were told to create any all-American food ad. In this food ad, we would incorporate any all-American song that we studied in AP Lang, where we analyzed the rhetorical situation. This project was the perfect idea to combine filming and writing! We were given time to write our scripts with our groups and record them. Finally, we edited the recording to make sure everything is fine!
