For my group's skeletal project, we originally started with wanting to do 3D printing. but it quickly turned into a live-action full-sized skeletal video instead. I contributed to my group by purchasing some of the items that needed to be shown in the video, was a character in our short video, and also did the research to complete the video. We needed labels to label the skull mask, which is something also retrieved to complete the project.
Something that went wrong during the project was us trying to figure out a way to have everyone contribute without the work being distributed unevenly.
Making sure everyone knew how everything was being done so we could answer any question that we were going to be asked during the presentation.
Switching up our project idea in the middle of presenting was extremely risky being that it wasn't the original project. In the end, we made it work and displayed the skeletal system very well. I believe something we could've done better was reading the guidelines thoroughly and making sure everything was not only done but done correctly. We were originally supposed to create an 3D version of the skeletal system using any materials, but my group and I didn’t we decided to make a video and put our peers into a sketch suit to point out the different bones instead. This wasn’t the point of the project which could’ve been our downfall but at the end it worked out a little.
The goal of this project was to be able to describe and point out the different bones and their functions. Having the ability to know the skeletal system so well that we could rebuild and teach others who don't know the different parts that make up the skeleton.
In Economics we learned about the differnt worth money is in different countries, so to learn about money conversion we had to plan a trip to anywhere outside of the U.S and convert the money to the currency that they use. We had to plan an entire Itenarary for a 3 night 4 day trip. We had guidelines we had to follow which were we had to eat a certain amount of times throughout the day and had to do a certain numbdr of activities. This project taught me how little the american dollar is in in some countries or how much you can get in different countries compared to what you could get with that same amount in the U.S.
