In geometry I designed a video game with 3 levels using translation. The goal of my game was to make mac and cheese. In order to complete my game, translations, rotations, reflections, and dilations had to be used. It was important throughout the process that we remembered the differences for each transformation and how to use them to achieve our goal for our game. A translations is when a shape slides, a rotation is when shape turns, a reflection is when a shape flips over a line, and a dilation is when a shape changes in size.
In Geometry, we are learning about probability and two-way tables. For this project, we had to find an issue that is currently going on in the world and I picked Abortion. We had to survey people from our school and create two-way tables for it. Finally, we had to make a presentation for it.
