This is my Chemvas typography. Once I learned how to find transparent pictures on google I found different symbols of science and art to create my picture. I had to repeat this step multiple times to find what I want for my picture. Once I finished my words I had to find a background to match. i used the spraypaint and spinograph tools to create a background with multiple colors.
For my process of making my drawing I first sketched out what i wanted my drawing to look like. Then drawing over it I had a rough sketch. I then moved onto the background making a sky. Then adding some final touches to my drawing I was done. It was difficult for me to draw my background specifically the clouds but once I started drawing more I got the hang of it. Next time I would not do anything differently.

Deeply Rooted was a whole grade level project for 2nd quarter, which sought to answer how symbols can reflect cultural differences and similarities. We researched the use of symbols around the world and came up with our own symbols that reflect our modern lives. In Art class we created hand made paper and Borax crystals which we used to make symbols. I chose to make headphones, which symbolizes how I am very involved in music wheather that be listening to it or crating ir. Bending the paper was difficult and next time I would like to make it bigger and possibly add more color contrast to make it noticeable int the PBL. On the day of the showcase, our work was featured alongside performances representing cultures around the world.

Guernica Project
For the project we had to create an art piece about something that could cause a major conflict/war. S.S showed us different things that have led to conflicts. Science showed us weapons used in those wars. Spanish showed us conflicts in other cultures. Art showed us tactics people have used to get people on their side like propaganda. First we brainstormed and made our sketch then we painted and finished our piece. I learned new ways to create different things like gradients.. I liked painting our piece it was very fun. If I did this again I would want to add more differences in the colors around our piecet to add more differences in the colors around our piece.
